Introducing the Small Business Health & Safety Leadership Awards

Helping small businesses instill a culture of health and safety is a top WSIB priority. We understand the unique challenges of running a small business and the commitment you make to implement a robust health and safety management system.

Our new Small Business Health and Safety Leadership Awards will recognize outstanding achievement in establishing health and safety programs in businesses with fewer than 50 employees.

We want to hear from you!

Tell us about your safety culture, how you do inspections and deal with hazards and how you support workers to return to work and you can win!

Small businesses registered with the WSIB are invited to apply to win a financial award based on their leadership in the area of health and safety. Individuals or local associations that support small business, such as a trade or professional association, may also nominate your company.

The first-place winner will receive $5,000, the second-place winner will receive $3,000 and the third-place winner will receive $2,000 – funds that can be reinvested back into your health and safety management systems.
