We’re making changes to improve service

We sometimes make adjustments to our processes to make sure that we are providing people with the best service possible across the province.

We're making changes to identify the claims that need more support for return to work and recovery earlier in the claims process. We are also creating new dedicated and interdisciplinary teams to work on those claims that need more support for return to work and recovery. At the same time we've changed our short-term case management program to provincial allocation so that new claims will be assigned to the first available Case Manager anywhere in the province. This will help us deliver service faster. Our return-to-work program will continue to be geographically based.

By identifying claims that need more support earlier, having a more collaborative team approach, and by making sure there is an equitable distribution of claims across the province, we will be able to provide even better service to the people we are here to help.
