Resources for young workers and parents: overview


Whether you are a young worker, a parent of a young worker, a teacher or an employer, everyone wants to make sure that youth entering the workforce remain safe while at work. The WSIB offers a variety of programs and resources that are geared towards making young workers aware of their rights and responsibilities in making their workplace safe.

    Introduces our Young Worker Awareness program to young workers and outlines your workplace rights, responsibilities and hazard recognition.

    Health and Safety 101 is an e-course developed by the WSIB for young workers 24 years old and younger.
  • Passport to Safety
    Show your employer you are safety smart. Participate in the Passport to Safety,  a national young worker health and safety test that gives you a transcript to prove that you have a basic understanding of what you need to protect yourself on the job.
