Ensuring workplace safety is an asset, not a liability

Prevention

In April 2012, the mandate for Ontario’s prevention system officially moved to the Ministry of Labour. The WSIB continues to be committed to promoting health and safety in Ontario workplaces and actively supports and collaborates with the Ministry and Ontario’s Chief Prevention Officer.

And we don't work alone. We have many partners in Ontario's Health and Safety Community who can provide you with specific health and safety information and assistance.

Have your say on Ontario's occupational health and safety strategy

The Ministry of Labour is consulting on a new Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) strategy. As a partner in Ontario's OH&S community, the WSIB invites you to read the Ministry's discussion paper and help develop the strategy by providing your feedback.
