Nurse Consultants
If your patient has injuries or personal circumstances that complicate the return-to-work process, the Nurse Consultant can be a valuable resource to help them access services and make a quicker recovery.
Physicians play a key role in prevention and early recognition of occupational diseases. This tells you what occupational diseases are adjudicated by WSIB, and what to do if you suspect your patient is suffering from one of these diseases.
Regional Evaluation Centres provide specialist assessment to patients with soft tissue injuries who are experiencing delayed recovery.
