Ritter to assist WSIB in interpreting findings
Toronto, July 31, 2013 - The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) is reviewing the report of the Independent Fact-finding Panel on Herbicide 2,4,5-T. Recently, Dr. Leonard Ritter, the Panel Chair, provided an overview of the report to the WSIB. He has also agreed to work with the WSIB to assist in interpreting the Panel's findings.

WSIB announces premium rates for 2013
Toronto, October 24, 2012 - In order to create stable and competitive premium rates for the future and ensure a sustainable workplace safety and insurance system for workers and employers, Ontario’s Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) today announced that premium rates will increase by 2.5% for all employer rate groups in 2013. This increased rate is a necessary step to reducing the WSIB’s unfunded liability (UFL), which has grown to $14.2 billion.

UPDATED: WSIB announces further organizational changes to enhance service
Toronto: March 21, 2012 - The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) has announced a further reduction in the number of its full-time staff positions.
