Promoting awareness of workplace safety and understanding of workplace rights and responsibilities among young workers is the first step towards preventing injuries, illnesses and fatalities on the job. The WSIB’s Social Awareness campaigns in 2004 marked the launch of the first initiative geared towards parents of young workers.
