2010 WSIB Student Video Contest

Wanted: Student videographer(s) who know a thing or two about workplace health and safety!

The WSIB, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, invite Ontario high school students to participate in the 2010 WSIB Student Video Contest.

Create a video in any style that tells your friends about workplace health and safety and get involved on our road to zero. It’s your chance to show your talent and help make a difference!

Enter to win BIG for yourself (or your team) and your school.

Prizes
1st Place: $2,000
2nd Place: $1,500
3rd Place: $1,200

Each entry is judged by using predetermined judging criteria (35k, pdf).

The cash prizes for first, second and third place winners are awarded with matching monetary funds awarded to your school. Awards of merit for special achievements are also endorsed by the judging panel.

Eligible entries plus Contest Entry Form (237k, pdf) and video must be received at the Toronto office by 4:00 p.m., April 1, 2010.

Winners are announced and recognized by the WSIB in the spring of 2010. In addition to being featured on the WSIB and prevent-it.ca websites, many have been featured in their local newspapers and recognized in their local communities.
