Injury Prevention For information on how you can prevent common injuries, contact the Industrial Accident Prevention Association (IAPA) or the Workers Health and Safety Centre. Sector Interagency Group The Automotive Sector together with the Chemical/Plastics, Process sector; Food & Beverage; Manufacturing; Primary Metals; and Schedule 2 sectors have set up an advisory group to strengthen prevention initiatives. The group’s focus is currently on falls, since these are a major cause of injuries within these sectors. The SIG includes WSIB representatives from these sectors, the IAPA, the Ministry of Labour, and Human Resources Development Canada.
