    If you produce organic and/or inorganic chemicals, paint, printing ink or adhesives, pharmaceuticals, soaps, plastic bags, wrappings or containers, we are dedicated specifically to serving you.

    Sector Interagency Group
    The Chemical/Plastics, Process sector together with the Automotive, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Primary Metals, and Schedule 2 sectors have set up an advisory group to strengthen prevention initiatives. The group’s focus is currently on falls, since these are a major cause of injuries within these sectors. The SIG includes WSIB representatives from these sectors, the IAPA, the Ministry of Labour, and Human Resources Development Canada.

    For information on how you can prevent injuries in the chemical/plastics, process industries, contact the Industrial Accident Prevention Association (IAPA) or the Workers Health and Safety Centre.
