    What are my worker’s responsibilities?

    Injured workers are required to:

    1. Get proper medical treatment immediately following a work-related injury/illness and follow the recommendations of their health care providers.

    2. Report their injury to you as soon as possible.

    3. Stay in contact with you throughout their recovery period.

    4. Provide the WSIB any information requested concerning their return to work.

    5. Help you identify suitable work that is available, consistent with his or her functional abilities, and restores pre-injury earnings when possible.
