    Small Business Services

    Small Business Services is dedicated to helping you, the small business employer. If you employ less than 20 workers, we’re here to provide you with insurance coverage and health and safety services in a way that’s as simple and easy for you as possible.

    Registering your Business
    You can easily register your business.

    Reporting an Injury
    Call your CSR. Your CSR can complete a Form 7 for you or help you to fill out one you've downloaded from this site. For a checklist of the information you should provide to help your CSR complete the Form, refer to "How do I report an injury".

    Important News

    • ServiceOntario - WSIB partnership in COBI
    ServiceOntario is a division of the Ministry of Government Services (MGS) committed to providing the public with fast, friendly, convenient access to Government services. COBI is one of these services, and stands for Change Of Business Information. It is an online application, accessible to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week, allowing users to submit changes to existing information to both federal and provincial government programs- now including the WSIB.

    Schedule 1 employers can now submit changes to the WSIB for:

    • Three types of Business Addresses (Account General Mailing, Payroll Records and Organization)
    • Two types of business names (Legal and Trade)
    • Contact Information (Business telephone and/or fax numbers)

    The WSIB and ServiceOntario have taken every step to ensure that any online business transaction is safe, secure, and upholds your right to privacy. Learn more and access

    You need to notify us within 10 days of any change to your account, such as

    • increasing your payroll
    • changing your business
    • going out of business
