RAC issues 2010 request for research proposals
The WSIB Research Advisory Council (RAC) has issued a call for research proposals for its 2010 Solutions for Workplace Change open grants competition.
All proposals must be received by the WSIB Research Secretariat by 4:00 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2010.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) describes the WSIB’s research program, its research priorities, and how to apply. Grants are a maximum of $150,000 per year, and the maximum grant duration is three years. Researchers may also apply for 12-month Development Grants, with a maximum budget of $30,000.
Applicants for Development Grants must use the 2010 Development Grant Application Form. Applicants for Full Grants must use the 2010 Full Grant Application Form.

This is the RAC’s twelfth annual call for proposals since the program’s first competition in 1999.
The WSIB Research Advisory Council is an independent multi-stakeholder body composed of representatives of researchers, workers, employers, health and safety associations, the Institute for Work and Health, the Ministry of Labour, and the WSIB. The Council reviews all grant applications and makes funding recommendations to the WSIB Board of Directors.
